Being a person who has always loved to draw and create stories, comic books were a natural place I would lose myself for hours as a young boy. Mesmerized by the illustrations and transported by the stories, they were a feeding ground to my already over active imagination.

I can still remember the first time I saw a comic book. It was not Marvel, DC or any of your typical comics that I later fell in love with regards to characters, art and writing. The first comics were a brand called Commando and they were actually my grandfathers.
